Versione italiana di questa dichiarazione

GEVI S.R.L. is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (the European Accessibility Act).

This accessibility statement applies to www.geviwind.com and its sub-pages.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, because of the non-compliances listed below.

"Partially compliant" means that some of the requirements are met, but barriers remain which we are in the process of removing according to the timetable set out further down. We think it is more useful to state them openly than to leave them out.

Non-accessible content

Non-compliances

The barriers listed below were identified through the assessment described under "How this statement was prepared". For each one we give the requirement concerned and the date by which we expect to have removed it.

Barriers identified on www.geviwind.com
Barrier Who it affects WCAG 2.1 requirement Expected fix
On phones and tablets the page cannot be pinch-zoomed, because zooming is switched off. Anyone with reduced vision using the site on a mobile device. 1.4.4 Resize text (AA) 15 October 2026
Pages declare Italian as their language but the content is in English, so screen readers read the English text with Italian pronunciation. People using a screen reader or text-to-speech. 3.1.1 Language of Page (A) 15 October 2026
When moving through the page with the Tab key, several main menu items and the search field show no outline indicating where you are. People navigating by keyboard rather than with a mouse. 2.4.7 Focus Visible (AA) 15 October 2026
On the "Contact us" form, the privacy notice acknowledgement checkbox is not announced with its own text by screen readers. People using a screen reader who fill in the contact form. 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A) 15 October 2026
Some light-coloured text and figures on a green background do not reach the required contrast ratio. People with reduced contrast sensitivity, or anyone reading in bright light. 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (AA) 30 November 2026
Within body text, some links are distinguished by colour alone, with no underline or other cue. People who cannot distinguish colours, or who use a greyscale display. 1.4.1 Use of Colour (A) 30 November 2026
On some pages the line spacing is fixed by the site and cannot be increased by the user with their own stylesheet. People who need wider text spacing to read, in particular readers with dyslexia or low vision. 1.4.12 Text Spacing (AA) 31 January 2027
Several pages lack structural landmarks (main content and footer), and the heading hierarchy is irregular: some pages have no top-level heading, others have two. People using a screen reader who navigate by jumping between headings and regions. 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A) 30 November 2026
On the "Contact us" form, the group of checkboxes covering the subject of the enquiry is not linked to the question it answers. People using a screen reader who fill in the contact form. 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A) 30 November 2026
The "Skip to main content" link is not the first item reachable with the Tab key: the cookie notice buttons and an undescribed element come before it. People navigating by keyboard or with a screen reader. 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks (A) · 2.4.3 Focus Order (A) 30 November 2026
Some links consist of an icon only, or use generic wording such as "here" or "Learn more", which does not convey the destination out of context. People using a screen reader who browse the page's list of links. 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (A) 30 November 2026
For the videos published on the "Technology" page, we have not yet finished checking whether captions are present. People who are deaf or hard of hearing. 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded) (A) 31 January 2027
The PDF documents available for download from the site have not yet been checked and made accessible. People using a screen reader or other assistive technology to read documents. EN 301 549, clause 10 (non-web documents) 31 January 2027

Disproportionate burden

GEVI is not claiming any disproportionate burden exemption. Every barrier listed above is scheduled to be removed by the dates given. Should we in future consider that a particular fix would impose a disproportionate burden under Article 11 of Legislative Decree 82/2022, we will say so explicitly in this section, together with the reasons for that assessment.

Content outside the scope of the legislation

Some components embedded in our pages are supplied by third parties and are not built by GEVI: the embedded video player and the cookie preferences panel. We have checked how they behave and will continue to do so at each update; where we find barriers that our own configuration cannot resolve, we will raise them with the supplier or consider replacing the component.

How this statement was prepared

Date of publication
7 September 2026
Method used
Self-assessment carried out directly by GEVI S.R.L., the owner of the website.
How the assessment was carried out
Automated testing with the axe-core rules engine running in a browser, applying the rules that correspond to WCAG 2.1 level A and AA criteria, supplemented by targeted checks on keyboard navigation order, the focus indicator, heading and landmark structure, the accessible names of form fields, form behaviour on validation errors, and how content reflows on narrow screens.
The assessment covered eleven pages, chosen to cover every page template on the site: home page, Technology, About us, Placements, Wind Study, Contact us, Blog, a blog article, an advertising landing page, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
The checks that require human judgement are still under way — full keyboard walkthrough, screen reader testing, 200% zoom, the adequacy of image alternative text, and the accessibility of PDF documents. We will update this statement once they are complete, which we expect by 30 November 2026.
Date of last review
7 September 2026
Next scheduled review
By 30 November 2026, and thereafter at least annually as well as after any significant change to the site.
