Three aerospace engineers from the University of Pisa conceptualized and developed a 30W pitch-controlled vertical axis wind turbine.
The startup idea and prototype won HKL’s first prize, kicking off their participation in Eni Energizer and Polihub’s incubation programs to develop also the business aspects.
GEVI has been selected for the Italian Cleantech Accelerator program “ZERO” facilitated by CDP in collaboration with organizations such as Eni and Microsoft.
This six-month acceleration period has been critical in laying the groundwork for the construction of their first pilot, simultaneously drawing the attention of potential investors.
GEVI collected initial investments that allowed the team expansion and the opportunity to test and iterate their technology on the field.
